Signature of the Subsidy Contract

It gives us immense pleasure to inform that the subsidy contract for the realization of DecarbonDHS project was officially signed on Oct 21, 2024 in Gdańsk (Fig.1), during the signing ceremony, attended by the Polish Deputy Ministers of Funds and Regional Policy, Jacek Karnowski and Konrad Wojnarowski.

During the meeting, Konrad Wojnarowski, the Deputy Minister, emphasized the role of cross-border cooperation in the South Baltic area and congratulated the beneficiaries of 5 innovative projects, which had its subsidy contracts signed during this ceremony:

Interreg South Baltic is a programme that breaks down barriers in cooperation across borders and brings together local communities, local governments, universities and residents of the southern part of the Baltic area. EUR 8.2 million of funding for these 5 projects will allow for its realization and implementation of the innovative concepts and solutions that, among other things, will help to ensure the cleanliness of the Baltic Sea.

This meeting was also attended by prof. Mirosława Ostrowska – vice-President of the Polish Academy of Sciences as well as Emil Rojek – Vice-Voivode of the Pomorskie Region, Adam Gawrylik – member of the Board of the Pomorskie Voivideship and Adam Mikołajczyk – Director of the Department of Regional and Spatial Development from the Pomorskie Voivodeship. Representatives of Polish partners were also present at this ceremony.

We are looking forward towards the joint realization of the DecarbonDHS project within its international consortium!
