On February 25, 2025, 50 industry experts, energy companies, and policymakers gathered at Linnaeus University in Växjö for Bioenergidagen 2025—an annual event organized by Energikontor Syd in collaboration with Linnaeus University and Växjö Energi AB. The event focused on key challenges and opportunities in district heating and the decarbonization of the energy sector. Prof. Leteng Lin introduced the DecarbonDHS project at the conference with a presentation, sharing also insights on various technologies for developing the district heating business.

Discussions emphasized how innovative technologies and strategic collaborations can accelerate the decarbonization of the heating sector.
